We collect information that you provide directly to us, as well as data automatically collected when you use our services:

  • Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication data to manage your account and minute balance.
  • Audio and Content: We collect audio recordings you dictate using our app, as well as the transcribed text, summaries, action items, and text embeddings generated from your recordings.
  • Analytics and Log Data: We automatically collect device information, usage metrics, and error logs to improve the performance and reliability of our app.

3. How We Process Your Data

Your data is processed using industry-standard third-party services. We strictly do not sell your personal data. We share your data only with these essential service providers:

  • OpenAI (Whisper and GPT): We securely transmit your audio recordings and text to OpenAI's APIs for transcription and summarization. In accordance with OpenAI's API policies, your data is not used to train their models. The data is processed temporarily to generate the text and summaries.
  • Supabase: Your account information, audio files, transcribed texts, and metadata are stored in our backend databases powered by Supabase.
  • RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and process purchase transactions. RevenueCat receives a user identifier and purchase data to credit your account balance.
  • PostHog: We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how our app is used.
  • Sentry: We use Sentry for crash reporting and error logging to fix bugs effectively.
  • Expo: Our app is built with Expo, which may process standard device data to facilitate app delivery and updates.

4. Data Retention and Security

We retain your personal information and voice notes only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, destruction, or alteration.

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal data.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
